Questions are marked as you progress and a paragraph of teaching notes explains the correct answer. Offline access is available for exams. Onexamination’s database is quoted as containing 2000 best of five questions along with 1500 MCQs for MRCP(I). Subscriptions range between £70 for 2 months to £90 for 4 months, with printed questions also being available at an extra charge. If you are a MDU member, then you can a get subscription for half price. The best feature of this site is the discussion feature. Students can ask the OnExamination team of senior Physicians for clarification of questions and rationale behind the quoted answers. Medexam 2007

Declan O’Kane has produced a custom mcq database that you download and install on your machine. This is great if you have intermittent web access, but a disadvantage if you are one of the many people who prefer not to use M$ Windows. For only £20 plus vat you get 2 licenses for a years use. This includes 1200 questions that are suitable for final year medical students and/or MRCP. Payment is via Paypal. Some free examples can be found here
